From two vineyards on Heathcote-Rochester Road, outside Colbinabbin, in the Heathcote G.I.
Medium to long macerations of destemmed Nebbiolo from the perfumed and tense 2022 vintage combine with more fleshy, giving 2023 vintage. Aged separately in a variety of old oak casks. Blended for bottle spring 2024. Some sulphur added.
2022 = Tension and Perfume, 2023 = darker fruit and flesh. Lovey tensile, balanced and bright wine results.
