Zippy & Energetic, featuring crunchy red currant, blue plum, cranberry with faint white pepper and five spice. Light and refreshing, suitable for a light chill at a picnic.

Winemaking:
Fermented 50% wholebunch for bright fruit and spice & 50% Destemmed for structure and weight. Stomped by foot and hand plunged once a day before gentle basket pressing. Matured in 500L Seasoned Puncheons for 10 months with one rack leaving behind the gross lees. Bottled, sealed, and labelled on site by the loving hands of family. Minimal sulphur was added at bottling.
Farming:
Grown by Troy McInnes from Chalmers on the slopes of the Mt Camel range near Colbinabbin in Heathcote. Negroamaro's origins can be traced to its spiritual home of Puglia in Southern Italy, where it makes full bodied and rustic wines with wonderfull freshness. It has shown incredible potential in the dryer, warm regions of Australia, ripening beautifully with minimal water, but still maintaining heaps of acid.
